The highly anticipated cyberpunk melee action platformer REPLACED has been delayed yet again, with the game now slated for a 2025 launch. The retro-futuristic title from Ex-devs Studio was initially delayed to 2024 after the game missed its projected 2023 release window following the war in Ukraine, which unfortunately saw one of the developers having their locations destroyed.
Tragically, Sad Cat Studios developers revealed that the game would take even more time as the latest update may see a 2025 release window.
Sad Cat Studios Faced with an Uncomfortable Dilemma
In a recent email, Sad Cat Studios acknowledged the delays for this title were repeated and apologized that their initial timelines was over-optimistic. The studio has now uploaded that “*REPLACED*” and its release target is 2025. “Yeah, we were optimistic on the first release date and apologize for that. Building REPLACED is a unique challenge, but it’s also really cool to do such special thing.
