Slitterhead, the hauntingly good-looking new game from Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama just released a chilling story trailer guaranteed to make your hairs stand on end. The trailer releases with its Nov. 23 launch date but gives players an eerie glimpse into the streets of Kowloon, filled to burst with nightmare beings you will be facing down come November.
Here’s what the story trailer reveals about Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey.
Slitterhead has players step into the role of Hyoki, a being without memory or physical form. Your mission? To clean the city of scary Slitterheads. As you traverse this corrupted place, you may cooperate with potential friends or menacing business conglomerates that have ulterior motives.
In the new trailer, Hyoki highlights his skill of being able to possess and control human bodies which in turn transforms regular people into weapons-of-sorts making for that ever-much-needed edge-all-the-time. This power allows Hyoki to bypass barriers, take the form of someone important and enter dangerous places. That power to swap hosts with such speed can open up city traversal in no time flat, leaving all of Detroit a dynamically haunted playpen at your disposal.
