ToggleSquare Enix has released some new information about the upcoming Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, shedding light on what to expect from its hotly anticipated Monster Wrangler class. In addition, fresh new screenshots and gameplay footage are providing fans with an exciting taste of everything Roxanne — the Grid-based adventure that players can look forward to in November 2021.
Battle Favourite: Monster Wrangler
The Monster Wrangler is a new Vocation brought in only for the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. Whereas someone else might just see a rabid dog, a young Monster Wrangler knows the dogs is hungry and scared but it can be tamed and turn into a man’s best friend.
Not only is this class fantastic for making friends with creatures, but they also have a pretty solid list of combat abilities too- They can deal good damage to multiple enemies as well as some healing abilities. If you want to diversify your set-up and add some new powers from allies rather different than usual, the Monster Wrangler is one of the options.

The remake also includes the charming plot, which has won hearts over for years. “Years ago, the great hero Ortega set off on a quest to defeat the Dragonlord from which he never returned…,” as its description begins. Ortega is dead and Baramos still lives to menace the world.
Now, upon their sixteenth birthday, the one and only child of Ortega is called forth by none other than King Aliahan himself – with no small purpose in mind: to set out on his father’s quest whence he left off chasing Baramos (or whatever) all those years ago.
