Great news for any Phoenix Wright aficionado out there, as Capcom has finally come up with a demo of the long-awaited Ace Attorney Investigations Collection. Now available for free on all major platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with Steam and the Xbox Games Store allows players to get a first look at what will be forthcoming when the full game releases September 6.
On June 17, you can tackle the first chapter of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and start your case in earnest; a week later on June 24 or so, you’ll dip into both games’ opening act. Players can save their progress after completing the first sections, allowing a smooth transition into the full game when it comes out.

Easily the most notable piece of content in this batch is Ace Attorney Investigations 2, which has never before seen an official localization for Western audiences. This also marks the English-language debut of Ace Attorney 2, so fans can now experience it in localization for the first time and see how things went with taking classic courtroom drama on a road trip.
Additionally, the demo is also a glimpse at one of Ace Attorney Investigations 2’s new gameplay mechanics – Mind Chess. A new feature to the first game, prosecutors will guide Edgeworth in quickly and strategically revealing secrets of opposing witnesses.
As you play through the first chapter of Ace Attorney Investigations 2, you’ll also meet new characters whose entire names in English have been disclosed for the very first time after being designated by their Japanese originals. We chose these names as they’re the ones that best capture the essence of the series, and out of respect for a fan translation many players have grown up with.
Get ready to step into the shoes of Miles Edgeworth and investigate like only he can in this demo for Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, now available before it releases on January 30th! If you’ve been a fan for years or are just getting into the series, this demo is an ideal lead-in to becoming immersed in both courtroom drama and investigative action.
Be sure to check it out now and prepare for the full game on September 6!
