A New Web Experience
The second season of MultiVersus didn’t start off well, but the team over at development is working to make sure it runs more smoothly now. It was put back for sale on online storefronts in May and the game has had a complete reworking of its net code (which it claims is now “world-class” ). “Everything was built from the ground up,” said the studio in May. Now, playing with friends online feels just like you’re offline.

New Modes and More Fun
This summer, MultiVersus brought in more characters worlds…” new (yup…) to their gameplay modes. Custom games will also allow for a Spectator mode allowing up to four players to watch these proceedings, as well as Free-For-Alls — disbanding the team element of similar-sized matches so all fighters are in it for themselves. In Free-For-All, the first player to score four ring outs wins as well; this aim lends yet another level of bedlam and tactics.
Works Across A Variety Of Platforms
As you can see, MultiVersus is on PC, PS4/PS5, and Xbox One/Series X|S so players on a variety of platforms will be able to take part.
