Breaking: PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation Confirmed – What Could Sony Be Revealing Tomorrow?

There have been a lot of rumors swirling around the PlayStation camp lately and Sony has confirmed that you should be excited about something, as it will hold an impromptu special presentation on “PlayStation 5’s tech,” tomorrow at 8:00 AM PT.

Some are speculating ahead of this event, though not much is said leading up to dream media events from way back when suggesting we might see a big announcement set in place for some potential follow-up with State of Play down the line through lengthy conversation-based feedback loops (thanks SG!).

Well, now Sony has stopped the speculation by confirming in a post on the official PlayStation Blog that tomorrow’s showcase will revolve around more of what we can expect to see and feel with regards to gaming technology from the next-generation tools.

It will be a nine-minute presentation led by the brilliant Mark Cerny who is also leading the design of PlayStation 5. The potential for game-changing news, fuelled further by Cerny’s involvement has only added to the excitement amongst fans.

Sony has not yet revealed what the presentation will consist of, but it has confirmed that you can watch live on its YouTube channel. That said, co-streamers and other content creators need to be wary as live reactions or commentary might push into the copyright gray area.

Of course, the vagueness of what little has been revealed hasn’t stopped imaginations from going wild. A lot of people are putting their money on this being the time that Sony dons its biggest gun, PS5 Pro and a half if you believe some Giancrystal-ed whisperings. That reveal would be positively massive for existing PS5 fans and prospective PlayStation switchers alike.

Now the spotlight turns to tomorrow’s show, perhaps with more surprises in store later this month if/whether a State of Play is mentioned. Assuming PlayStation 5 Pro is a thing, fans will have to wait for next-gen software to show what the new console can do.
