There have been so many rumors about the Nintendo Switch 2 that you may have forgotten when they started in the first place and every man, his dog, and their grandma seemed to know something nobody else did.
However, in the absence of any confirmation from Nintendo itself; these rumors tend not so much to leak as those seeking attention throwing ideas at a wall.

A Nintendo Direct is that last thing, and a likelihood next two to three weeks we’ll hear the other hand generator stationary built by several have event 80-99% for expected like THE NINTENDO SWITCH: TWO or whatever they choose reportedly modest likelihood it with third parties.
Although that might be exciting, it is better to not get too carried away with this information. Speculative leaks are nothing new to the gaming world, and these aren’t even close to being the first whispers we have heard of an imminent Switch 2 reveal. However, there are a few quite interesting indicators that something might indeed be brewing.
Some evidence supporting this idea has arisen in the past 24 hours, with Nintendo confirming an Indie World Showcase for tomorrow which will see a Partner’s Showcase Direct bundled along.
Nintendo usually uses these type of events to give big reveals a chance on their own time, so the choice to combine them is surprising. This has even prompted its September event to get many thinking that it may be when the Switch 2 is finally taken out of its hiding place, similar to how Sony recently announced their PS5 Pro in a mini-showcase.
The rumors suggest Nintendo is going to have a big announcement coming soon and this could be earth-shaking news, once more. The last concrete detail we know is that the next console will be released sometime during the fiscal 2025.
Nintendo has promised a “seamless transition” to this new system and, due to their updated online system which the enhanced Switch will use, there are suggestions that players can move saved games and downloads from one of the original units.
Until Nintendo announces more, however, we’ll just have to wait and see. Consequently, as sexy as those rumors are it is always better to not regard them too seriously. This will be the test of that, over the next few weeks, it could go in either direction so we must wait and see.
