It was not the news fans of Enotria: The Last Song were hoping for when this week, we found out that the release date for one of our most anticipated games had been pushed back. Scheduled to release on September 19, capacity being shifted from Xbox has left some would-be players wondering what happened.
The developers of Enotria: The Last Song have taken to /r/X (the artist formerly known as Twitter) to address what has happened. They claim that it’s all about Xbox.

Instead, the developers claimed that they had sought out Microsoft months before to help prepare their game for submission. But after months of silence from the beast itself, they had to delay getting it out for Xbox owners.
Falling short of their expectations, one customer service team communicated that a dedicated account manager would have prevented the oversight from occurring. News of the delay led to disappointed fans, especially those who had been excited for a simultaneous console and PC release.
However, in a follow-up update it was reported that Microsoft had finally reached out to developers.

Overview from Insider Gaming A Microsoft representative personally reached out to Jyamma on behalf of a developer “Enotria: The Last Song” apologizing for the non-informed situation in communication. This was reported to the team and both parties now are working together to rectify the problem at the earliest.
The Xbox release is a little more up in the air at this time, and it’s unclear whether or not that version will hit its original September 19 launch date – but PC and PlayStation 5 players can mostly look forward to checking out what New World has to offer in due course.
Hopefully, with Microsoft back in the fold things won’t take quite as long for it to appear on Xbox.
