Remnant 2’s Dark Horizon DLC Drops This Month-Get Ready for Epic Boss Rush Mode!

Gunfire Games and publisher Arc Games have revealed the release date of The last DLC for Remnant 2, it’s called The Dark Horizon. Coming September 24, this heralds the end of premium content for Hitman, but it also brings new things in more than just a narrative sense.

“The Dark Horizon” will be bundled with a large free update, which introduces the long-anticipated “Boss Rush – Ultimate Challenge”, an ordeal also known as the ultimate test for even the most seasoned players of Blue Fire.

The Dark Horizon (Mysterious) World

The Dark Horizon will see players back in the forsaken world of N’Erud, a time-frozen land where alien farmlands are tended by robots long after their masters have gone.

Designed to provide a stunning and dangerous experience, the exploration of these new overworlds will be brand-new in the 12 years since Blacula first entered Echoes: with gliders added that move players across the environment from above for an exotic travel mode whose like haven’t been seen before.

The DLC will also introduce new, powerful items and a brand-new Archetype called “The Warden” that adds even more strategies to the gameplay.

Ben: Remnant 2 Sells Well, Boss Rush Mode Incoming…

Remnant 2 blew the world away when it came out, selling more than a million copies in its first week and capturing July 2023’s place as America’s best-selling game. The game has now reached over 2 million games sold and is a console hit.

To keep the pace going, developers are including a new Boss Rush mode for those who enjoy more fast-paced haha.

Boss Rush: The Boss Rush mode allows players to get straight into the intense boss driven combat either with friends or solo. This mode has three difficulty options (Triple Threat > Trial by Fire > The Gauntlet) and is essentially a relentless string of bosses the player will have to defeat in succession, testing their survival skills.

The objective is as simple and humbling in concept: survive waves of enemies which include a powerful Aberration before confronting bosses, whilst also looking to earn one-off drops including unique weapons. While traveling these tunnels, players can find short-term buffs that improve stat growth and passives to assist in this endurance run from hell.
